By virtue of an order, Hojatoleslam Dr. Ahmad Hossein Sharifi was appointed as the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Islamic Humanities for four years by the Head of the council’s policy-making committee, the Public Relations Office of the Permanent Secretariat of the Congress cited the SCHI as saying. The council also appreciated the relentless and effective efforts of the previous secretary Dr. Rafiei Atani. The text of the order is as follows: 

Dear Dr. Ahmad Hossein Sharifi

Greetings, 

Given your brilliant record in various fields, particularly the philosophy of Islamic Humanities, and your precious and fruitful experience in the management of Iranian scientific and research institutions, and pursuant to the consensus among the majority of the members of the committee, you are hereby chosen as the head of the council for four years. I hope that you will continue being successful in this key post under the auspices of God the Almighty and prayers of Imam Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Advent). I hereby appreciate the effective and numerous efforts by Mr. Dr. Ataollah Rafiei Atani, the former secretary of the council.
