of the 4^th Islamic Humanities Global Award

In the Name of God

Thanking God for his great and indescribable blessing of Islam and its luminous teachings, we hereby send our salutes and peace to prophet of Islam, his family and his followers. And our most sincere salutes will be upon Imam Mahdi.

We hold dear the name of the great founder of Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini, and valuable martyrs of the seminary schools and universities. Our sincere salute will be upon his excellency, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the leader of Islamic revolution.

The 4^th Islamic Humanities Global Award committee holds the honor to state thanks to God’s blessings, we have witnessed ongoing thrives in scientific progress in Islamic humanities to form much more favorable opportunities to hand scientific notions and theories and breakthrough in this field. What bears satisfaction and pleasure the most is the positive results of the scholars’ endeavors during last decades as well as emersion of young, elite and highly motivated researchers by the attempts of whom new ways of scientific innovation development is being formed.

It is for certain that, today, the most significant priority in the field of Islamic Humanities are the far-sighted smart investments, revival of the capacities and laying the ground for scientific creativity pertaining to applied reads and issues. On the other hand, it must not be ignored that innovation development in Islamic humanities without giving the researchers the chance to have trial and error to make it applicable cannot be achieved. As long as the decision makers believe there is no need to science or they depend themselves on western theories as well as secularism, it cannot be expected to provide considerable opportunities to expand the area of Islamic humanities to be more effective.

The 4^th Islamic Humanities Global Award in this round as well as the previous ones, faced a noticeable number of suggestions from prominent theorists which made it difficult to select and introduce superior theorists. Of course, by taking the philosophy of this award into account, the committee attempts to grant the award to the people who, apart from presenting one or some considerable theories, own privileged and various attempts which in its final phase help Islamic humanities to develop more and to increase the scientific assets in key majors so that the scientific society would be able to continue its way by the help of capacities available.

The Islamic Humanities Global Award in its 4^th round which is held by the holy shrine of Fateme Masoume (Qom) and in presence of a number of honorable researchers from seminary schools and universities, according to the regulations of the award and after some multi-steps considerations and receiving the votes of scholars in the related majors, succeeded in identifying two qualified theorists to win the award in this round:

1. Honorable professor Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad, in philosophy and Islamic humanities methodology who in addition to his great and unique contributions and services in scientific and investigative fields such as institutionalization leading and training tens of experienced researches, laid the ground to form hundreds of scientific works both in human studies and Islamic humanities. He has succeeded in presenting leading in nature, principles and structures of Islamic humanities which has pushed sciences more forward
2. Honorable professor Mr. Sayed Hussein Mirmoezi in Islamic economy, who alongside effective role-playing in expansion and fortification of Islamic economy in Iran, has succeeded in presenting valuable theories to strengthen the Islamic economy infrastructures and complementing and deepening the Islamic economy system.

Furthermore; the committee of the 4^th Islamic Humanities Global Award decided to appreciate the valuable scientific works done by Mr. Osman Bakar who proposed prominent theories in philosophy of religious (Islamic) science by granting the letter of appreciation for his attempts to expand Islamic humanities discourse in Islamic world.

In the end, plus asking God to safeguard these precious and worthy scholars, we hope the award will play its role in introduction of scientific role models to the scientific society. And from now on we hope we will witness more benefits from development of the scholars’ abilities to have more scientific Islamic world.

We hereby thank all experts for their great contributions and cooperation in different stages like assessment and selection, who stood by the side of the committee of  the 4^th Islamic Humanities Global Award. Also we feel urgent to thank the Barkat Ventures and Quran University of Science and Education for their cooperation in providing the award in this round.
